Get your film into a festival

Over at The Fix, Matthew M. Foster has a great essay on how to get your short film into festivals. I don't direct short films, but I have been on the audience receiving end of both good and bad film festival choices, so everything Foster says makes perfect sense. And since he's the director of the Dragon*Con Independent Short Film Festival, I'd suggest listening to his advice.
