Wow. Thank you, I think. Such strong opinions about what makes "good fiction." We all ultimately write for our selfish selves - what continues to surprises me is that others want to read it.

Awesome stuff, Jason. This was a great panel, full of all kinds of ideas. I had the feeling that if we'd stolen every clock or watch out of that room, we'd still be there talking about these things.

I think the best panels have a little tension between viewpoints. That gets the panelists thinking on their feet and you see them speak more candidly. Without naming anyone in particular, I think this panel definitely didn't see completely eye to eye on everything, and you can see that it shows in the quality of stuff you were able to post for us.
