Interesting article, great read. But we have lost our humanity. I do not think mankind will ever find it again. Not in this life, or the next.

I don't think we'll start believing in science as if it's a religion. I think we're already past that point. I think most people realize that science is an ongoing process and what we believe to be true today, might not be so tomorrow.

Stuart: I actually disagree with the statement that "most people realize that science is an ongoing process and what we believe to be true today, might not be so tomorrow." Look at all the political debates surrounding evolution, climate change and so on. The most frequent argument thrown at science in these cases is that the science isn't "settled" or that the science has changed from what was being said a few years ago.

I think most people actually don't understand how science works. Which is why this faith-based science worries me. I could easily see people beginning to put their blind faith in science without understand how or why science is supposed to work.
